Reading is the most important thing we do in school and in life.  A love of reading is a lifetime adventure, opening doors to new and wonderful worlds. It is always wonderful to share a book with someone.

There are many different ways to excite interest in books.  Find a topic you like and go find something to read about!
In the classroom, we read everyday.  The Accelerated Reader program is one way to encourage students to read.  Please encourage participation at home.

In addition to logging in books on their weekly book list, please
encourage your child to take an AR test on every book they finsh.
They may take tests in the classroom whenever they finish their work.  Let us try to get 100% participation this year for AR!
